Katherine S. Watson, president of Avlis Publishing LLC, and Avlis Productions, Inc., went to work for Jose Silva shortly after graduating from high school in Laredo, and she has been involved in the Silva systems ever since. Kathy and Victor Kovens founded Avlis Publishing in the summer of 2000 to promote Jose Silva's UltraMind ESP System

In addition to managing the Avlis businesses, Kathy also builds custom web sites, is active in church, a member of the Palestine, Texas, Lions Club, is a volunteer fire figher, and is such a good softball player that she has been playing for two teams!

Her partner in Avlis Publishing, A. Victor Kovens, first took the Silva Mind Control course in 1974. The following year the Silva techniques heled him get into the Guinness Book of World Records by flying around the world on commercial airlines in less time than anybody had ever done before. Ed Bernd Jr., director of product development, moved to Laredo in 1981 when he was asked to come and edit the company's newsletter, and he has been there ever since. One of his first projects was editing Jose Silva's autobiography. In all he has worked on more than a dozen Silva books as editor, coauthor with Mr. Silva, or author.

Jose Silva personally supervised the production of many of the Avlis products before his passing. He also supervised and guided Ed in the development of specialized courses for athletes and sales people. You can be sure that you are getting the genuine article when you see the Avlis name.
