Jose Silva Jr., the first of 10 children born to Jose and Paula Silva, recorded and documented much of his father's research during the 1950's and 1960's. When Mr. Silva began to take his System to the pubic in 1966, "Joe Jr." was in the Navy, serving in Vietnam. When his tour was up, he heeded his father's request to return to Laredo to help him manage the rapidly growing company.
In 1995 Mr. Silva asked Joe to serve as President of Silva International, a position he has held ever since. He also asked Joe, and long time associate Jose Luis "Pepe" Romero, to serve as Trustees of his Estate after his passing.
In 1998, Mr. Silva set up a new company to manage his new course, the UltraMind ESP System, and assigned the ownership to his long-time management team: Joe Jr., his nephew Alex Gonzalez, Senior Vice President of Silva International; and Pepe Romero, Comptroller of Silva International, wiht Joe Jr. holding majority ownership.
Jose asked some long time friends and associates to help him promote the business, and thus Avlis Publishing was born. Hint: To see where the name comes from, spell A V L I S backwards.
